The 2025 Missional Discipleship @ Workplace (MDW) Forum, hosted by  CCCOWE, will be held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, from October 21-24, 2025. Under the theme “The Gospel at Work: Where God Is Not Absent”, we warmly invite believers and pastoral leaders burdened by workplace mission to join us for an interdisciplinary and intergenerational spiritual dialogue and journey.

The core focus of this forum isn’t just to present challenges, but to collectively understand, reflect on, and seek pathways for response. We recognize that pastors often struggle to bridge the understanding gap when ministering to workplace believers due to a lack of relevant experience. Entrepreneurs, though eager to respond to God’s calling through their lives, often feel their service models are misunderstood or unaccepted. Young people, on the other hand, may not struggle with survival, but with seeing the connection between their faith and real life. These tensions and confusions are shared experiences deep within many believers.

We hope this gathering will be more than just “talking about the workplace”; it’s a collective quest. Through dialogue, we’ll listen to each other’s situations and struggles. Through prayer and sharing, we’ll develop renewed perspectives on faith and work. Most importantly, we anticipate nurturing practical directions for rethinking pastoral care, re-recognizing one’s calling, or re-initiating concrete actions.

We deeply believe that theology isn’t confined to the pulpit; the workplace is where Christ’s life is actively lived out. This isn’t just a forum; it’s a shared journey of facing challenges together and mutual support. The workplace has never been a periphery to faith, but a grand stage where God calls His children to live out the Gospel.
