Chinese Churches Today
Request "Chinese Church Today" 2026 annual journal
"Chinese Churches Today" originated as the "CCCOWE Newsletter," published before the first CCOWE in 1976, and was renamed "CCCOWE Bimonthly" in January 1977, with each issue being six pages long. In January 1978, it was officially named "Chinese Churches Today" as a bimonthly journal and switched to a monthly the following year. With the roles of a “servant, bridge, and prophet”, it offered brethren who care about the global Chinese evangelical ministry exciting feature articles, reports from the CCCOWE and regional ministries, and news about Chinese and global churches.
The 2026 edition of Chinese Churches Today centers on the theme of the 10th CCOWE Congress: “EAR, ERA, ARE” (Open Our EAR, Understand Our ERA, Here We ARE), focusing on the Gospel of the Kingdom, holistic mission, and the role of the Chinese church in a changing world.
In the midst of rapid change and diverse global contexts, this issue invites us to listen afresh to God’s voice, discern His work in our time, and journey together with Chinese churches around the world through connection, dialogue, and faithful participation in God’s Kingdom mission.
